2002 – MGC Advanced Polymers is incorporated and land purchased to construct a manufacturing facility. 2005 – Construction and start up of a state-of-the-art facility to produce quality product is completed. 2006 – Registration to the ISO 9001:2000 standard obtained. 2007 – Chesterfield County Pretreatment section awards MAP with the Exemplary Pollution Prevention Award for significant improvements for preserving environment and pursuit of ISO 14001:2004 registration. Registration to the ISO 14001:2004 standard is obtained. 2008 – Chesterfield County Pretreatment section awards MAP with the Exemplary Pollution Prevention Award for improvements made to reduce water consumption and solid waste, and the Gold Award for pretreatment compliance. 2009 – Chesterfield County Pretreatment section awards MAP with the Exemplary Pollution Prevention Award for improvements made to reduce solid waste and increase recycling, and the Gold Award for pretreatment compliance. Virginia Water Environment Associate awards MAP with the Silver Award for Environmental Excellence recognizing demonstrated dedication to pollution prevention, waste elimination and reduction, and conservation through the implementation of an environmental management system.
